It’s that time of year again! The membership year for the American Guild of Organists goes from July 1st to June 30th. You’ll find the 2011-2012 membership form attached as an attachment to this email. After printing it, please fill it out and make the check payable to the Greater Huntsville Alabama Chapter, American Guild of Organists.

AGO Headquarters would like to receive all renewals as soon as possible.
If you cannot open the attachment, please let me know and I will mail you a copy of the form.
For those of you that teach, please consider telling your students about the student membership option. This would be a wonderful opportunity for them to learn more about the organ and meet other organists in the area. Also, if you know of anyone who is an organist or has interest in the organ, please invite them to join our chapter. We have signed up for the “Grow the Guild” program and hope to increase our membership by 2%. This gives the chapter a chance to win prizes such as a major concert artist recital.
In the category of Chapter Friend (non-voting), we request that you contribute at least $30. These monies go directly to support local events such as “Pedals, Pipes and Pizza”, guest recitalists, master classes, etc., as well as student scholarships and organ method books, publicity, and the printing of programs.
The AGO is a 501 c3 organization and your contributions above the membership dues are tax deductible.
Our membership directory will be updated once most members (new & returning) have submitted their checks. It will be emailed to all who have email addresses. So that the directory contains the most up to date information, please make sure that you have included your mailing address, email address, phone number (work, home and/or cell), your position and church and/or temple of employment.
